Duetothecomplexity,precisionandseriouspollutionofdentalinstruments,thefollowingpointsshouldbepaidattentiontoduringcleaning: 1.Manualcleaningandmechanicalcleaning(includingultrasoniccleaning)canbeused.Mechanicalcleaningmethodcanbeselectedfornonpoweroralinstruments.Handcleaningshouldbeselectedfordentalinstrumentswithpowersupply,precisionandcomplexdentalinstruments,andhandlesofelectricdentalcleaners.Ultrasoniccleaningshouldbethefirstchoiceforsmalldentalinstrumentsandothercomplicatedinstruments. 2.Thedetachableinstrumentsshallbecleanedseparatelyafterbeingdisassembled,suchastheelectrictoothcleaner. 3.Duringmanualcleaning,theinstruments,appliancesandarticlesshallberinsedunderflowingwatertopreliminarilyremovepollutants;afterwashing,theyshallbesoakedwithmultienzymecleaningsolutionorothercleaningagent,thenbrushedandscrubbed;finally,theyshallberinsedwithflowingwater.Thewatertemperatureshouldbe15-30℃.Thebrushingoperationshallbecarriedoutunderthewatersurfacetopreventthegenerationofaerosols.Thelumeninstrumentsshallbewashedwithpressurewatergun,andthedetachablepartsshallbecleanedafterbeingdisassembled. 4.Ultrasoniccleaningshallfollowtheinstructionsorinstructionmanualofthemanufacturer;firstwashtheinstrumentunderflowingwater,removethepollutantspreliminarily,andtheninjectwaterforhumancleaningintothecleaner,andaddmultienzymecleaningsolution;thewatertemperatureshallbelessthan45℃toholdtheinstrumentThebasketshouldbesubmergedunderthewater;thecoveroftheultrasoniccleaningmachineshouldbecoveredtopreventaerosols;thematchingultrasonicfrequencyandtimeshouldbeselectedaccordingtothedifferentmaterialsoftheinstrument;thespecialbasketshouldbeequippedfortheultrasoniccleaningofsmalldentalinstruments. 5.Themechanicalcleaningmethodshallfollowtheinstructionsorinstructionmanualofthemanufacturer.Thedetachableinstrumentshallbedisassembledforcleaningandtheinstrumentcouplingshallbefullyopened.
